Tanagra Heavenly Chaos 2020 - McGregor 750ml

Tanagra's Heavenly Chaos owes its name to the fact that it is not a ‘designed’ blend but is opportunistic in the sense that they blend the Merlot, on which it is based, with whatever is left in the barrels after bottling their other wines and as such has a different composition every year (hence the ‘chaos’). It is ‘heavenly’ because it always results in a very smooth and quaffable and yet serious wine. This vintage is a blend of Merlot, Shiraz and Cabernet Franc. This Heavenly Chaos is a somewhat lighter and yet elegant red wine and as such a perfect summer or lunch red wine, which can be enjoyed at a slightly cooler temperature (at around 15-16 degrees Celsius). It can be enjoyed now or within the next 5 to 6 years.
