Cabernet Franc is a cultivar typically used in Bordeaux type blends rather than in single vineyard wines. This Tanagra Cabernet Franc comes from the smallest block at the farm, only 1 ha in size, planted in 1996. Tanagra released their first Cabernet Franc Single Vineyard Wine for the 2014 vintage and ever since it has been their flagship wine. It is perfect to enjoy now or for (at least) another 5 - 6 years.

Nose: Ripe berries mingling with cool leaves and crushed herbs

Palate: A good scaffold of smooth, rounded tannins and a spice-laden finish.
